Just like any other floor, rubber floors are subject to wear and dirt, specially those in external areas which are used a lot. All colored floors are also subject to natural changes in color and whitening and that includes any floor such as ceramic, stones, vinyl and also rubber. With simple maintenance the colors can be preserved and the floor kept clean.

A water jet cleaning machine can be used to wash floor as long as fan is totally open and not concentrated on one spot. The ideal is to use floor polishing machines with brushes and a neutral degreaser.

More resistant stains can be removed using solvents such as "Varsol", but should be washed with water right after. The displacement of some tiles can occur in areas of higher water concentration or even in areas where the sub-floor migrates water or other substances. All you have to do is remove the tile, dry the sub-floor and tile thoroughly, apply a coat of glue to the tile and reinstall it. The glue used is contact glue (shoemaker´s glue) which can be found in any good home depot or supply store for shoemakers or cabinetmakers. Never wash with acid.Never use solvent based resin..Do not use the water jet cleaning machine with a closed fan or aimed at one specific tile.
